It's peppy, it's zingy and its well-researched!! I am happy to report that my fave parlour has the small parlour qualities without being a hole in the wall so I think I am doing rather well. 😎😎

I laughed out loud many times after ages. This is why the Substack sisterhood is so precious. And you look gorgeous!

I went salon hopping with you! Yours and all of mine. I belong in category 1 salon. And I will tell you why :-) soon. Fantastic piece. And fabulous photographs — especially the first one. :-)

Thanks Savvy! I'm sure all of have interesting salon stories to share. Maybe one day there will be a newsletter dedicated to them!

Le sigh. A good salon and haircut is hard to find. When I lived in small towns in Thailand, forgetaboutit. I hated the experience, so often, I let my hair grow out and be wild, and trimmed my bangs at home. I've lived in SEA too long to be tickled by the novelty of an old fashioned stylist.

In Cambodia, I've found a British-owned and operated salon. He used to have a chain in London, but gave it all up for a life overseas. And he's great!
